Would you like to learn how you can get paid for photos? Do you have mega bite after mega bite of cool photographs stored on your hard drive and you would like to go something with them? Well you can do something with them that will put some money in your pocket. You can get paid for photos online. A lot of photographers do this for extra money and even as a full time living. There are many different ways you get paid for your photographs. Some companies pay up front for each one you submit and others pay by the download. I think getting paid by the download is the best way.
Here is an example of getting paid by the download. Say you submit 10 photos and you get paid .30 per download and you get 1 download a day for each. You are getting $3.00 a day. So let’s say over the course of a year you have submitted 500 photos and you have some really cool pictures and you are getting .30 a download and you average 5 downloads each photo every day. That’s $750.00 a day or a little over $22,000 a month. Even at 100 photos with this same scenario you would be making $150.00 a day. Not Bad! Getting paid for photos is easy to do. Going rate is between .25 and .50 a photo. I think people think you have to have thousands of photos submitted just to make $25.00 once in a while. That’s just not true. There are photographers making full time livings at this and you won’t kill yourself doing it!
You still have to do some work. You need a decent digital camera and an Internet connection and you have to find cool things to take photos of. Once you get going you will learn more about what is being searched for. Cameras are so small nowadays you can have one with you at all times so when you see a shot you can get it instead of wishing you had a camera with you. Learning to get paid for photos is a great way to start a freelance photography business. It gets you learning your equipment, learning what will make a good shot and what won’t, lighting and a lot more!
Equipment doesn’t have to cost a fortune either. A decent $200.00 camera will work. You may find a pretty good one for a little less but I wouldn’t be using a $75.00 camera. Get a decent one if you don’t have one yet.
